We have some bad news for anyone who pre-ordered the Batman Arkham Knight game. Calm down, the title has not been delayed again. This news is for people who pre-ordered the Batmobile Edition of the title. It has now been confirmed that Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition has been cancelled just days before the title was due to be released. Wow, this sucks for you guys who pre-ordered it.
The Batman Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition was put up for sale in September 2014 and was sold out quickly, so everyone wanted it. There are going to be a lot of upset fans over this.
Rumors about the cancellation first appeared on NeoGAF through a source who claimed to be friends of a GameStop employee. Now Warner Bros. says that it’s not able to release the Batmobile Edition of Batman: Arkham Knight “due to unforeseen circumstances that greatly compromised the quality of this extremely limited run of product.” This is a real disappointment.
WB apologizes and recommends that customers go to the retail location where they pre-ordered it from and get a full refund. Customers can also get the deposit exchanged for another Batman: Arkham Knight edition or a completely different product. Sorry guys.
