Avengers: Endgame has been breaking box office records since it opened last month and it continues to rake in some serious cash. The latest figures show that Avengers: Endgame has now earned over $2 billion worldwide. The number only goes up from there.
This makes Avengers: Endgame the fastest movie ever to earn over $2 billion at the box office worldwide. It is also the second-biggest film release ever as it earned $1.2 billion on its opening weekend worldwide and has since been breaking more records. The movie has now become the highest-grossing Thursday release ever and has earned the biggest opening weekend ever in the U.S. and abroad. It has surpassed the box office totals of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Titanic, and Avengers: Infinity War.
It all started with Iron Man way back in 2008 and there has been no stopping the MCU ever since. This movie is the ultimate Marvel spectacle and the fans are loving it. Marvel is not done yet though. There are more movies coming. It has at least 20 films in development for the next ten years as the fourth phase begins. That new phase begins with Spider-Man: Far From Home which is coming this summer. We can’t wait.
