We learned late last year that Microsoft will be extending their Games with Gold program indefinitely. If you missed the news, Microsoft’s “Games with Gold” program will offer free games to anyone who subscribes to Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gold tier for the Xbox One and the Xbox 360. So it is similar to Playstation Plus from Sony.
In August of this year, the Games with Gold program will get you Strike Suit Zero: Directors Cut and Crimson Dragon on the Xbox One, and if you are still enjoying your XBox 360 and have not upgraded to the XBox One yet, you are not left out. If you are still using your previous generation console, you will get Dishonored and Motocross Madness. Not bad at all for August.
Crimson Dragon was a launch title on the Xbox One, and was basically the spiritual successor to the Panzer Dragoon Saga. Crimson Dragon is a good fast-paced rail shooter, and you can play with up to three other people. Strike Suite Zero was a Kickstarter campaign that received funding. In this game you are a pilot facing intense space battles. The two Xbox One games will be available for the entire month of August, while the two Xbox 360 games will be split between the first 15 days and the remaining 15 days of the month. What do you think about those titles?
