ASUS’ recent ultra-thin notebook, the ASUS ZenBook UX305, was announced in September of last year. And now the ZenBook UX305 is hitting the US and the company has priced it competitively against the rest of the competition in the market.
The new ZenBook UX305 Ultrabook measures in at just 12.3mm thin, and it weighs 1.2kg. The device may be thin, but don’t be deceived, under the hood, this device packs quite a punch. It may be thin, but it is also very powerful.
For $699, you will get a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920x1080px) display, a dual-core Intel Core M-5Y10 processor, 8GB RAM, a 128GB solid-state drive, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, a Micro-HDMI port, a trio of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, and a battery which is said to be able to last for about 10 hours before it needs a recharge. Not bad huh?
There is also a souped up version of the ZenBook UX305 that you can get. This one will arrive later this April, bringing with it a 3200 x 1800 pixels resolution touchscreen display. That model will carry a price tag of $999. With those specs and those prices, it certainly is tempting. What do you think? I like it’s thin and powerful build.
