ASUS Unveils Colorful VivoBook S Laptops

If the plain ASUS Zenbook S isn’t up your alley, you’ll be pleased to hear that ASUS has other laptops recently announced at Computex 2018. One of these is the ASUS VivoBook S which will be offered in either a 15.6-inch display or a more portable 14-inch display.

ASUS is going for points on looks with these laptops. The company has opted to do away with “boring laptop colors” and have gone for “striking hues that catch the eye” which are Firmament Green, Star Grey, Silver Blue, Gun Metal, and Icicle Gold, with the former featuring a textured woven finish around the keyboard while the latter has a brushed finish with diamond-inspired motifs.

The design will feature NanoEdge displays which means thinner bezels for the displays. So the laptops are smaller than your average 15.6-inch or 14-inch laptops. These laptops use 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processors with 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA GPUs, with the 15.6-inch model allowing for dual-storage designs that give users both an SSD and HDD.

ASUS has not mentioned pricing for these laptops yet, but the VivoBook S15 will be available in late June and ASUS will announce the availability of the S14 at a later date. These look lovely.
