Ubisoft released its annual report which means we now know what to expect from Ubisoft in the coming year. The publisher has confirmed that it’s going to release a new Assassin’s Creed game and Far Cry 5 next year as well as some other titles.
This will be good news for fans of these games.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that new Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, The Crew, and South Park titles will be released next year and said, “Over the last three fiscal years, Ubisoft has – with remarkable success – created numerous new brands and rebooted Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon,”
Ubisoft wants to continue its “digital transformation” in the next year and consolidate its new business model which is more recurring and more profitable while being less exposed to new releases. Obviously, Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed much about these new titles yet, but it’s likely that the publisher may have more to share about them at the year’s biggest gaming convention. It’s good to know that these titles will be back. Fans will have something to look forward to.
E3 2017 is going to start next month and since the publisher has confirmed that it will hold a press conference on June 12, it will likely make some announcements about them.
