The Archos GamePad didn’t really set the gaming world on fire, however Archos is trying again and is ready to launch a new model. The Archos GamePad2 has been spotted in the FCC’s database and we have a few photos of the device during testing.
The design remains consistent with the original, with the Archos GamePad2 bringing physical gaming buttons on its sides, and a large screen positioned in the middle that doesn’t look any bigger than 7 inches. As for the tablet’s hardware specs, we are left in the dark for now. Looks like all we have is a far away shot of the front.
All we know is that the GamePad2 features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The device will likely be announced next month during the IFA expo in Berlin.
