Apple’s Maps software, which replaced Google Maps on the iPhone with the introduction of iOS 6 has come under quite a bit of criticism, and Apple have said they are working to improve the service.
Now according to a recent report, Apple are considering acquiring social maps service Waze, of course this is just a rumor at the moment, and there has been no confirmation from either company that a deal is in the works.
Waze is already partnered with Apple to provide mapping data for Israel, and Apple could acquire the company to help them improve their Apple Maps app, as soon as we get some more information on whether this rumor is true or not we will let you guys know.
