The September 9th unveiling of the 4.7 inch Apple iPhone 6 is not very far away, but the anticipation is making it seem like it is a long wait indeed. While we were waiting, the Thailand government has approved two variants of the device.
The country’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission has approved two versions of the highly anticipated Apple iPhone 6. Those two versions were given the identifying numbers of A1586 and A1524.
Apple filed with the agency on August 5th, and on August 8th they got the approval they were seeking. That August filing date may even mean that we can expect an earlier launch date in the country. Because last year, Apple filed with the commission for approval of the Apple iPhone 5s and Apple iPhone 5c on September 25th, and both started shipping about a month later.
However, just because two versions got their identifying numbers, that does not mean that there will be a 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and a 5.5 inch phablet version. For instance, Apple ships six different versions of the iPhone 5s, depending on the region, and the network. Still, folks in Thailand have to be happy about the news. Now they know for sure that they can get their hands on Apple’s latest device very soon.
