PC owners who are patiently awaiting the arrival of the new AMD Radeon HD 7970, will be pleased to know that specifications for the new graphics card have been leaked in the form of presentation slide, uncovered by the OBR website. As you can see front the slide below the new Radeon HD 7970 graphics card, will be equipped with 3GB GDDR5 memory with a memory interface of 384-bit.
Its will also be sporting GCN architecture, 32 CU (Computing Unit), and a 2048 ALU (SP) that will allow you to operate at 925MHz clock speed, 128 TMU and 32 ROP.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability for the AMD Radeon HD 7970 has been released as yet. But there is an rumoured launch date of around 22nd December 2011, so don’t spend all your money just yet.
