You can buy almost anything on Amazon, but not cars. Not yet anyway. But you can now conduct research on a car that you might have your eye on by using Amazon Vehicles. It’s a new hub that the online retail giant has launched and it is aimed at those who are in the market for a new car and want to do some research before they decide to buy.
It seems like a good way for Amazon to expand its presence in the automotive market. One day they may even sell cars.
Amazon recently launched a program in select markets which allows Prime Now members to book Hyundai test drives and have a representative come to them for the drive, so they certainly have their eye on that market. Amazon Vehicles is a car research destination and an automotive community in one. You can view images, specifications, and videos for new and classic car models. Thousands of Amazon customer reviews will also be there. You can ask questions and receive answers directly from car owners too.
The new hub will also lead customers toward the Amazon Automotive store where they can purchase accessories like car seats and even buy replacement parts.
