Fans of Whole Foods are going to love this news. Amazon has announced an expansion of the Whole Foods grocery delivery service. It’s expanding the service to two additional cities. The Whole Foods grocery delivery service will now be available in both Florida and parts of New York City.
This grocery delivery service comes after Amazon acquired Whole Foods for $13.7 billion in June last year. The markets which initially got this service were Dallas, Virginia Beach, Cincinnati, and Austin. The service has since been expanded to other markets like Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, San Antonio, Houston, and Minneapolis.
This service is available to Amazon Prime members who can order groceries for delivery within one or two hours, which is free but they have to pay $7.99 on orders above $35.
Now Amazon Prime members in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Palm Beach, Long Island, lower Manhattan, and Brooklyn will be able to order groceries for delivery using Whole Foods. They can order fresh produce as well as perishable products like meats and dairy. Also “Select alcohol”.
You can place orders daily for one and two-hour delivery from 8AM to 10PM. So go ahead and make your order if you are in those new added areas.
