If you live in Boston, you can now order fresh produce from Amazon without having to leave the couch. That is because the company has announced that its grocery delivery service Amazon Fresh is live in Boston.
Amazon has been slowly expanding this service to more cities across the country and now it is Boston’s turn. It’s not just in the U.S. either. They are also expanding overseas. Earlier this month Amazon Fresh was launched in London.
Amazon Fresh will initially be available in select neighborhoods in Boston, Massachusetts. The areas supported by Amazon Fresh in Boston include Charlestown, Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Jamaica Plain, Brighton, Allston, and more. You can use the service to order groceries, fresh produce, prepared meals, health and beauty products, baby products and more.
You have a lot of choice in what you buy thanks to the more than 95,000 products available at launch, which can be delivered on the same day with Amazon Fresh if the order is placed before 10 AM. Orders placed after this time are delivered the next day. You can even select from attended or unattended two-hour delivery windows. You will need a Prime Fresh subscription, which combines a $99 Amazon Prime subscription with access to the grocery delivery service for $299 a year.
