Amazon recently announced their first smartphone, the Amazon Fire Phone, and now the company has launched its first TV commercial for the device, which can be seen in the video below.
Amazon are promoting the new Fire Phone in the video below with the Amazon Prime service which comes free with the handset of a year, and gives you access to movies and TV shows on the handset.
As a reminder the Amazon Fire Phone comes with a 4.7 inch HD display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, plus a 2.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, and 2GB of RAM. The handset also comes with 32GB of built in storage, plus NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi and 4G LTE,and front and rear facing cameras.
On the back of the device we have a 13 megapixel camera which features an LED flash, auto-focus, and optical image stabilization, the device also comes with Amazon’s Fire OS which is based on Android.
The Amazon Fire Phone will launch in the U.S. next Friday the 25th of July, the handset will be available exclusively through mobile carrier AT&T.
The device will set you back $199 when you take out a new two year contract with the carrier, the handset can also be purchased off contract for $649.
