Amazon account holders within the UK patiently waiting for the arrival of the handy Amazon Autorip service, will be pleased to learn that Amazon has now started rolling out the service within the UK.
The Amazon Autorip service enables you to buy an AutoRip CD and get the digital MP3 version for free, so you can even start listening to your order before the hard copy actually arrives at your door. Check out the video after the jump to learn more about the Amazon AutoRip service.
“Browse the thousands of AutoRip-eligible titles in our Music Store until you find something that tickles your fancy. They’re easy to spot; just look for the AutoRip logo on the artwork or in the product description.
Once you’ve completed your CD purchase from Amazon.co.uk, log in to your Cloud Player (every UK customer has one – it’s free!) and your album will be waiting for you to stream or download. If you’ve pre-ordered the album, you’ll have to wait until release date; we can’t travel through time, unfortunately.
Now you’ve got your album in Cloud Player it never needs to leave your side. Stream or download your entire library of AutoRip-eligible albums, Amazon MP3 purchases and even content you’ve uploaded from your own collection wherever you are; on PC or Mac, Android or iPhone and Kindle Fire devices. ”
