Most Android users would not mind seeing the addition of Amazon Appstore on their Android handset as a second marketplace for them to check out apps and other interesting items. More choice is always good right? Amazon has now made sure that its Appstore is now part of its regular Android app.
When you install the Amazon app that is available over on the Google Play Store, all that you need to do is to open it up and tap on “Shop by Departments”. Once you are inside that section, you will be able to find the complete Amazon Appstore under the title “Apps and Games”. That should make things easy for you.
The store was first launched on September 9th of this year, but it was all on the down-low so not many people were aware of its existence. That should all change now thanks to this implementation. Amazon claims that aside from the Appstore, the Android app carries hundreds of millions of items that can be purchased using their “1-click” system. Like I said this will make it easier for you to find the things you want to buy.
There are over 200,000 movies and TV shows to rent or buy, and over 30 million tunes. More than enough to keep you entertained. How about over two million Kindle books to choose from?
