We learned about the AcerCloud service earlier this year and its companion Android handset, the CloudMobile phone. Now, Acer has launched a beta service in Europe. That means that buyers of the company’s new laptops and desktop machines will be able to try it out.
You just need to install the portal app on your Android device and Acer PC, allowing you to download images and other files between them. You can also send files to your computer for backup.
Everything is synced through the service, and it will store the data if your home machine isn’t turned on, then transfer everything when it’s on again. No word yet on when users in the US will be able to enjoy it.
