The ACER C720 has now been officially launched in the US at the very reasonable price of $249.99. This Chromebook features Intel’s Haswell architecture (Intel Celeron 2955U) which delivers a much longer battery life when the processor is idle or performing low-intensity tasks.
ACER says that it has a battery life of about 8.5 hours which is always nice, as well as a design that is 30% thinner than the previous model. This interesting 11.6” Chromebook has a 1366×768 screen resolution, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and this one weighs just 2.76 lbs.
