If you are looking for a new business notebook with the word Acer emblazoned on the back, you’ll be happy to know that Acer is finally offering the TravelMate P243 in the US.
It packs in 4GB of DDR3 RAM, an Ivy Bridge Core i5 CPU and a 500GB HDD. There’s also a spill-resistant keyboard so that your beverage doesn’t kill your notebook. Other features include a 14-inch, 1,366 x 768 LED-backlit display with a built-in webcam, a fingerprint reader and the company’s ProShield security suite.
If you like those specs and are ready to go for it, this baby will cost you $700 and just so you know, you can still get last year’s Sandy Bridge-powered P243 for $600.
