Acer has launched a new netbook in Europe, the Acer Aspire E100, which is designed to be used by European schools and it can dual boot with both Windows 7 and Google’s Android OS.
The Acer Aspire E100 features a 10.1 inch LCD display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, processing comes in the form of an Intel Atom processor, unfortunately there are no details as yet on which version of Intel Atom processor the Aspire E100 uses.
Other specifications on the Acer Aspire E100 include a 250GB hard drive, a 6 cell battery, integrated 8021.. b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and Ethernet.
As the Acer Aspire E100 is designed to be used by schools, and can be fully customized with school logos and settings there are no details on pricing and no details if it will be available outside Europe.
