Acer is preparing to release an eight-inch Windows 8 tablet very soon, according to a leak. And now a page listing the Acer W3-810 tablet on Amazon appeared earlier than planned, revealing images of the mobile device and it’s specifications. This coming shortly after the company unveiled a number of new notebooks and a 7.9-inch Android tablet to the world.
The now-removed listing shows the tablet as having an 8.1-inch display running at 1280×800, powered by a dual-core 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM. Storage is 32GB, rear and front cameras are 2-megapixel. There’s also a micro USB 2.0 port and micro-HDMI port. Battery life is around 8 hours, and the weight is 1.1 pounds.
Amazon listed the price at $380, but I’m sure that’s not set in stone. When we hear more about this one we will let you know.
