There have been rumors of a phablet in the works from Nokia for a while now. Back in May, a blurry image of what appeared to be a large-screened Nokia device made the rounds. This latest leak which is said to come from a factory floor in China teases us again with a Nokia Phablet.
It measures 6-inches diagonal and is purportedly already being mass-produced by Nokia. It has a very thin bezel and it looks like it also features a slot for a front-facing camera. That’s about all we can learn from the image. Take it with a grain of salt for now of course.
Nokia may be readying the device for the anticipated Windows Phone GDR3 update. The new release is set to start by the end of the year and will add support for 1080p resolution to the Windows Phone 8 platform as well as an additional column of tiles. Obviously that would be perfect for larger, phablet displays.
