4Chan user claims that he turned a GameStop into his own private bank

Banks aren’t what they used to be. They will fee you to death for the privilege of holding on to your money. And bankers are among the worst kind of crooks in general besides. What can you do? Well, if you believe this 4chan user, he turned a Gamestop into his own personal bank.

gamestop bankJust how did he manage to do that? Well, if you believe him, the idea came about when the user claimed that they were annoyed with US banks as they kept overdrafting their account. They had the same thing happen to their credit union accounts with a debit card.

The user claims that whenever they get paid, he/she buys a ton of new games at GameStop using their paycheck, and that is how the money is “banked” in or deposited. When a withdrawal is needed, all they have to do is return game titles that they don’t need/want and get their money back. I’m not buying it. If he were doing this and not losing money, you would think that Gamestop would have caught on by now.

The user says that GameStop lines are shorter and just as prevalent as banks in the town where he/she lives and more convenient too compared to running to the bank. Well, it is a genius idea and if he is making this work somehow, that’s awesome. Maybe some other people should try it. What do you think? Sound legit?
