To 4G or not to 4G, that is the question. And now we have an answer. Despite the impressive speeds allowing you to stream video and audio pretty much flawlessly, many people are not sold on it. It does drain the battery faster for one thing. A recent poll was conducted by Piper Jaffray that revealed that out of 3,000 people polled, 46.8% did not seem to want 4G. Only 15.1% said that they prefer 4G LTE.
These results are not good when you consider how much effort carriers are putting into expanding their networks. And everyone thinks that Apple’s next-gen iPhone could possibly sport 4G LTE compatibly too. Then again, this is just a small sampling so we will see what happens. This could be bad for carriers.
