Apple is rumored to offer its 2018 iPhones in a variety of colors. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has made some predictions about the company’s upcoming smartphones and he hints at a wider range of colors this year. Kuo also has some predictions about the price points for the OLED and LCD iPhone models due this year.
Kuo predicts that the iPhone X’s successor is going to be priced at around $1,000 while the 6.1 inch LCD iPhone may cost around $700. According to him, the new iPhones will come in a variety of colors. The OLED iPhone could be available in black, white, and a new gold hue while the LCD model may be offered in grey, white, blue, red, and orange colors.
There were rumors that Apple would expand the color options for the LCD iPhone and Kuo’s prediction suggests that there may be some truth to them. We don’t know if the red option refers to a new shade of red for the device or just the PRODUCT(RED) version though.
We should get more clarity on the matter in the months ahead. Apple is not going to confirm anything about the new iPhones at this point in time. It’s too early now.
