Microsoft has today opened doors Xbox Live Update Xbox 360 Public Beta and is now accepting applications from Xbox Live members to participate in the beta testing phase of development.
The new 2013 Xbox Live Update for Xbox 360 Public Beta includes a number of updates and improvements to enhance the overall performance and the ability to carry out transactions with local currency.
The new local currency transactions are being phased in to replace the Microsoft Points system which will be retired towards the end of this year most likely when the new next-generation Xbox One console is launched.
