Thanks to job listings and rumors, all signs point to Microsoft releasing the Xbox 720 pretty soon, even though the console has not been confirmed by the company. And now, according to website SemiAccurate, it looks like the Xbox 720 could be delayed.
This would be due manufacturing problems with its processor. While the Xbox 360 uses an IBM PowerPC chip, the next-gen Xbox is rumored to be using a chip by AMD that should be coming off the production lines in December. Apparently the chips are not passing testing which could mean a delay.
Hopefully any problems are solved quickly so that they can unveil it at E3 next year, which is a little less than a year. Take it with a grain of salt, but keep your fingers crossed.
