With the upcoming World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion, the level cap will be raised to level 90. If you are just starting out with World of Warcraft or if you want a new class or race, getting to level 90 is going to be a hard battle. However, Blizzard will be offering gamers one free boost to level 90. If they pre-purchase the game.
A screenshot from WoW Insider suggests that players looking to boost to level 90 might have to pay $60 otherwise. Yes. $60. It is odd that this has gone live since pre-orders of the game aren’t even live yet, so this may be a glitch in the system or a placeholder. We don’t know yet. Right now it looks like that is the price though.
$60 is a fair price when you consider that it would discourage gamers from boosting multiple characters to level 90, so this would keep the game competitive. However, gamers who don’t have much time to spend leveling up characters might see this price as shocking. Plus tax mind you. Hopefully we will hear from Blizzard soon. Nothing from them so far.
