Yesterday a new issue of the Wired iPad Magazine was released at a slightly lower price than the first issue. The updated app is free and allows you to view past and current issues and then to purchase any that take your interest.
The July issue of the magazine is now at the reduced price of $3.99 which still seems expensive compared to the paper subscription price of $10 for a year.
The first iPad issue sold a massive 100,000 downloads even at 6 times the cost of a printed copy. The publisher Conde Nast Digital says that further pricing refinements will be released soon, with a pricing model tied into a subscription with the printed version of the magazine.
