Probably not, but by now you’ve heard of all of the various lawsuits involving Apple recently. It has gotten pretty ridiculous as Apple has sued many companies making smartphones and tablets. Why can’t we all just get along and make our devices?
Well, now it is Motorola Mobility’s turn at Apple in a case that could actually get Apple’s products banned in the USA. Motorola Mobility wants a ban on the iPhone, iPad and Mac computers specifically, and a commission is scheduled to make a final decision public on August 24.
Apple probably won’t have their products banned, but if they did it might just be a taste of their own medicine. According to a judge, Apple is breaching one Motorola Mobility patent, and there are several others still in dispute. Apple has fired back and filed its own case against Motorola Mobility. It was found that their was no infringement from Motorola however and that two of Apple’s patents were actually invalid. Can’t we all just get along?
