The PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight is a tale of tragedy. After being removed from digital stores for being broken at launch, and then going through a four month overhaul and returning with many lingering issues, Warner Bros. has finally given up. If you bought the game on PC, you’re eligible for a refund between now and the end of the year. It seems that the company is at last admitting defeat on this title for the PC. It was bound to happen.
Warner Bros. gave the details on the game’s Steam community page. One thing you should be aware of though: The Arkham Knight season pass is only eligible for a refund with the main game, you can’t return the DLC separately. Also it seems like not all versions of the game are eligible for a refund: Users who purchased a retail copy of the game are reporting that the refund page won’t load for them. That would be yet another issue that this game has had.
Users that choose not to take the refund can wait it out, and they promise that they will continue to work on the game, but they also note that it may not be able to fix some issues. That’s not very reassuring.
