VIA Technologies has launched a new platform which is about half the size of their previously tiny Pico-ITX platform, called Mobile-ITX.
The VIA Mobile-ITX measures about 6 centimeters square, but don’t lets its size fool you as they have managed to cram enough components inside this tiny platform.
The platform includes a core CPU chipset, built in memory, and support for CRT, TTL, DVP displays as well as HD audio, USB 2.0, IDE, PCI Express, SMBus, GPIO, LPC and PS2 Signals.
The VIA Mobile-ITX uses just 5 watts of power, there is no word on pricing or availability as yet.
