If you are lucky enough to live in one of the areas where Verizon has its fast LTE mobile network count your blessings. Those blessings might have turned into a curse if you are a Mac user in the areas when you saw that the LTE modems didn’t support Mac machines.

Verizon has now announced that it will be adding support for Mac to its modem offerings starting in February. That will mean that the Mac faithful can get some on the go LTE loving with the USB modems on the market right now.
Verizon also announced that it was issuing a software update for the LG VL600 modem. That software update promises improved performance, which is a good thing. An exact time for the updates was not offered.
