Verizon Galaxy Tab Not Having Skype 3G Access

After last weeks speculation it has now been confirmed that the new Verizon Galaxy Tab will not have access to Skype over 3G via Verizon’s 3G-capable Skype app.

Alternatively the Galaxy Tab will have to use the regular Skype app available from the Android Market that currently only allows calls over Wi-fi connections within the US.

But don’t worry to much because there are ways around the missing 3G Skype application.
