We are expecting Apple to launch the next generation iPhone some time later this year, it may be next month if Apple’s sticks to their annual schedule, or it could come later in the year as we have heard rumors that it may launch in September.
Apple launched their first Verizon iPhone earlier this year, which features slightly different hardware than the AT&T model, and now it looks like the iPhone 5 should be capable of working on both CDMA and GSM networks.
Fran Shammo, Verizon’s CFO recently announced that the next generation iPhone, or iPhone 5 would work with both GSM and CDMA networks, which means it will work on any network as well as AT&T and Verizon.
