The UK’s largest games retailer has decided to offer free Wi-Fi in all 341 of its stores before Christmas. The service will be part of BT WiFi’s network of hotspots and will give gamers access to “all the information they need to buy there and then.”
That’s pretty good news. You can go online and get any and all of the info that you want before you buy. BT Wi-Fi CEO Andy Baker said that “According to Ofcom 39 per cent of adults now have a smartphone and they’re a crucial part of people’s shopping habits, especially for gamers.
“We are delighted to add GAME’s stores to the four million UK hotspots where our broadband customers already enjoy unlimited BT Wi-Fi for free. In store Wi-Fi will give gamers access to all the information they need to buy there and then.”
