When Motorola’s new Xoom tablet hit stores in Europe and the UK in the first week in April it will come supplied with full Adobe Flash player support direct from the box, according to a source close to the Xoom action in the UK.
Unfortunately the price that was first published by PC world on their site for the Xoom has now jumped and extra £50 to a retail price of £499. PC World maintains, that the original page with this price wasn’t meant to be published on their site for the public to view, even though it was equipped with a ‘Pre-order’ button. Perhaps they are taking a little advantage of being the first In Europe to be supplying the Motorola Xoom in the UK.
The Motorola Xoom is the first tablet to launch with Google’s new tablet designed version of Android, Android 3.0 Honeycomb and it comes with a range of impressive specifications.
The Xoom features a 10.1 inch touchscreen display, the display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core 1GHz processor. Have a look and our article on Android vs iPhone to see which smartphone and mobile platform is best for you.
