A new product has turned up at CES 2013 called the TP-Link M5350. This device is a battery-powered 3G mobile Wi-Fi hotspot designed to connect your computer and other devices to the Internet on the go. The wireless hotspot has an internal rechargeable battery promising 7 to 10 hours of use per charge.
The device also has an integrated SIM card slot that supports HSPA+ 3G mobile broadband connectivity. The device promises download speeds of up to 21 Mbps with upload speeds of up to 5.7 Mbps. The device can also be used as mobile shared storage.
That shared storage comes via an integrated microSD card slot that supports up to 32 GB of storage for sharing files between devices. Pricing and availability for the mobile hotspot is unannounced at this time.
