Don’t be fooled by it’s looks, the Toshiba Satellite S955 might look like an Ultrabook, but it is far from an Ultrabook. Even so, this is 30% thinner than the current batch of 15″ Toshiba S series notebooks. That’s something right?
Under the hood, you have a choice of either an Ivy Bridge Core i5 CPU or an AMD A8 APU, and it will accept up to 8GB of RAM on-board. It has a maximum of 750GB of hard drive space. There’s no info on pricing yet, but it should be affordable compared to the high end P Series.
And since we are talking a budget notebook here, it is missing some nice features from the Toshiba P Series. It does have a Sleep-and-Charge port out of it’s 3 USB ports. The other two are USB 3.0. ports.
