Toshiba has launched a new range of portable hard drives with a new built in backup function and 256-bit encryption.

These new hard drives are compatible with both Windows and Mac OS, and come in a variety of sizes including 320GB and 500GB.

The 320GB version will retail for $120 and the 500GB version will retail for $150.
