Toshiba launches a new 250GB 1.8inch SATA HDD

Toshiba has set a new milestone with their new 1.8 inch HDD, with 250GB of storage making it the largest capacity 1.8 inch drive.

This new 1.8 inch 5,400rpm SATA HDD weighs just 62g, and has a seek time of 15ms, with 3GBps transfer.

It measures 54 x 78.5 x 8mm, and is designed for ultra portable notebooks, UMPC’s and Netbook’s.

It will go on sale in November, there is no word on pricing as yet.
