Chrome extensions can be pretty handy. They can do stuff like add photographs to blank pages, or remember your passwords, or even prevent ads from showing up. They can make life a lot easier.
One drawback is that the Chrome browser is a bit of a memory drain, especially if you open tons of tabs and leave them open. I know I’m guilty of this. This can really make your browsing experience less than fun. However, there is now an extension that will help manage your open tabs.
It is called The Great Suspender. It helps puts tabs to sleep, essentially suspended anywhere between 20 seconds or up to 3 days, depending on what you need. This lets you keep your tabs open in your browser without having to worry about what a drain it will be on the computer’s memory.
You can even whitelist certain websites if you want so that the websites will remain open and functional no matter what. If you want to check it out, find it on the Chrome Web Store. It should make your browser experience much more ideal. We can always use more memory being freed up while we are browsing. You should love this extension.
