ThinkGeek Unveils New Minecraft Gear

I have never played the game Minecraft, but I know it’s one of the more popular games out there for casual gamers. ThinkGeek has teamed up with Minecraft developer Mojang for some cool gear to decorate your home or office. One of the items is an axe is made from foam.

It is called the Minecraft Foam Pickaxe and is a full size replica of the stone axe from the game. You can’t actually mine with it, but you can use it to bash coworkers if you feel the need. “With millions of players, Minecraft has changed the definition of what it takes to be a successful video game franchise,” said Ty Liotta, head of ThinkGeek custom products development group. “It’s a natural fit for us, especially because we have so many Minecraft players within ThinkGeek.”

The other product is perfect for your desk and is called the Minecraft Sticky Notecube. It is a pixilated cube of sticky notes for your desk. The axe will sell for $19.99 and the note cube sells for $9.99 with both products available now at ThinkGeek.
