Thecus the Taiwanese storage solution provider has just released their news addition to their range the 7 Bay N7700PRO NAS Server. The N7700PRO is fitted with a Core 2 Duo processor and a huge  4GB RAM making it the most powerful NAS unit available.

Its  powered by a 300W PSU and has 7 x 3.5 inch SATA drive bays that can accommodate up to 14TB of storage which you can then configure with  multiple RAID setups including 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD allow you to choose the ideal level of data redundancy to suit your needs

It is also equipped with 4 x USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and eSATA and  ensure compatibility with as many networks as possible, the Thecus N7700PRO supports multiple file systems including Ext3, XFS and ZFS and Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Unfortunately availability and pricing is still unknown at the moment.
