Tesla has launched a new car plant in Europe, the new production facility is located in Tilburg, in the Netherlands.
The company’s CEO, Elon Musk was at the launch of their new plant and he mentioned that the plant is expected top build around 90 new cars each day.
Production of the Tesla Model S will be done at the plant and it will be used to assemble the vehicles with parts which are created at the company’s factory in Fremont, California.
Tesla has 69 dealers in 12 countries in Europe and this new factory will be used to supply the European dealers with the Tesla Model S.
The new Tesla factory at Tilburg features a 750 meter indoor test track and Tesla says that this is the First European car factory to feature an indoor track. The company also announced that they now have more than 1,000 superchargers across Europe.
