Sky has confirmed the launch date of its Sky Player on demand video player for Xbox Live in the UK as the 27th of October.
Xbox 360 users will be able to access on demand content as well a live content, as long as they have a Sky account or pay a subscription fee, although it hasn’t been revealed how much the service will cost.
If you are bored with your standard Xbox 360 controllers and don’t want to splash out lots of cash having it custom painted, then check out the XCM Blue Blood kit, that turns you Xbox controller into a funky blue controller.
The XCM Blue Blood Xbox 360 Controller kit is basically a new shell for your Xbox controller, and it features an improved D-pad, which is larger than the standard controller.
There have been a couple of rumors over the last couple of week about a new Microsoft Xbox 360 with a 250GB hard drive, Microsoft are releasing a Modern Warfare 2 themed Xbox 360 console which will come with a 250GB hard Drive.
The Modern Warfare 2 XBox 360 will come in black, and feature Modern Warfare 2 Logos, and will come bundled with a copy of the game and two wireless controllers.
Here is another cool mod from Ben Heck, this one was made at the request of one of his customers, the Swapped Xbox 360 Controller.
As you can see from the photos, the d-pad and action buttons have been swapped, also the left and right triggers have been swapped and Ben has also fitted an extra set of X Y B A buttons on the back.
We have seen quite a few cool Xbox 360 Mods on Geeky Gadgets, like the cool Hellboy Xbox 360 Mod, the latest one will appeal to all the Steampunk fans, the Steampunk Xbox 360 Mod.
This cool Steampunk Xbox 360 Mod was created by Dopelgunder from deviantArt, I love it I think it looks amazing, I bet it took ages to make.
Turtle Beach has launched their latest gaming headset for the Xbox 360, the Turtle Beach Ear Force X41, which is the third generation of the X41 headset.
The Turtle Beach Ear Force X41 headset features a digital RF wireless CD quality sound, and 3D positional audio with an advanced chat booster.
Skate is a skateboarding video game developed by EA Black Box for the Xbox 360 which allows you to skate freestyle around a fictional city called San Vanelona. Tricks are performed by using the analog sticks on the controller and takes a lot of practice to become good. Check out the video after the jump.
Microsoft has launched a new limited edition Xbox 360 controller, the Halo 3 ODST Xbox 360 Controller.
This limited edition Halo 3 controller will now come with the $99 collectors edition of Halo 3, it certainly looks pretty cool from the photo.
Microsoft has revealed its new controller for the Xbox 360, called ‘Project Natal’
Project Natal is a full body motion control system, that doesn’t actually use a controller for game play but uses your body to control your character in the various games.
It looks like the Xbox 360 will be getting a motion controller similar to the Wii-mote, which the launch of the Gametrak Freedom Xbox 360 motion controller.
The Gametrak Freedom uses an accelerometer, plus some ultrasonic 3D positioning, and two sensor bard which are mounted near your TV.
Halo has to be one of my favourite games on the Xbox, check out out this cool Halo themed Xbox 360 Mod which was sent in to Techeblog by one of their readers.

Leaked pictures have appeared on the web of the new Jasper Xbox 360 motherboard.
The new motherboard uses a 150w power supply instead of the 175w one in the current Xbox 360’s.
