Beats Music Now Sells Subscriptions from its iOS App

Beats Music started selling subscriptions online earlier this year. The company has been offering an app for the iPhone for a while to allow fans to listen to the service on their mobile device. One thing that Beats Music didn’t allow on that app was the buying of a subscription. The reason for this was that Apple keeps 30% of all subscription fees and sales made from the App Store.

Fast & Furious 7 to Use Four Body Doubles for Paul Walker’s Character

Late last year we mentioned that actor Paul Walker and a friend died in a car accident while on a break from shooting Fast & Furious 7. Not too long ago it was announced that the movie Fast & Furious 7 was shooting again. We haven’t known exactly how the studio would be handling Walker’s death in the movie. Some speculation was that they would kill off Walker’s Brian O’Conner character.

Sprint Axes 330 Workers and 55 Stores

Sprint isn’t exactly growing like gangbusters anymore. The company is struggling to get new subscribers and to keep the ones it has. Sprint is under stiff competition from the likes of T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon. As the top two, carriers grow and T-Mobile catches up to Sprint, Sprint is turning to layoffs and store closures to keep profits up.

NASA Shows Off Massive 360-Degree Telescope Panorama

The NASA Spitzer Space Telescope has been in orbit for years taking images of the cosmos. NASA has shown off a new panoramic image that is made from the infrared images that have been taken by Spitzer over the last decade. Those images were patched together into a 360-degree panorama that can be explored by users like Google Maps.
