Google To Buy WhatsApp For $1 Billion (Rumor)

WhatsApp is a popular messaging app on mobile devices, the app is available on the iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and Symbian, and now it would appear that Google could be considering buying the company behind the application.

According to a recent report by Digital Trends, Google and WhatsApp are currently in talks about a possible acquisition, and the deal is reported to be worth around $1 billion US dollars.

Sony has revealed the pricing for its new 4K Ultra HD TVs and also announced a new 4K media player, the Sony FMP-X1 4K Media Player, which will come with a 4K resolution.
