Asus is currently the most popular manufacturer of netbooks, details have been leaked of their netbook roadmap which shows new products which will be released by Asus this year.
Some of the new netbooks that Asus will be releasing, feature NVIDIA’s Ion graphics chip, and other specifications that have been revealed include a new larger 12 inch netbook and a multi touch tablet PC.
Yesterday we told you about Nokia’s first netbook, the Nokia Booklet 3G, Nokia has released a promotional video which gives us more of an idea of this new netbook.
As you can see from the video the Nokia Booklet 3G features an aluminum casing, and it certainly looks very stylish, other features include a 12 hour battery life, and a 10 inch HD display, check out the video after the break.

The Nokia Booklet 3G comes with an Intel Atom processor, plus a 10 inch LCD display, which Nokia are calling ‘HD ready’ so I presume it will be able to playback HD content.
LG has launched a special edition of its X120 netbook, the LG Xnote Mini X120 Levi’s Netbook.
The LG Xnote Mini X120 Levi’s Netbook comes with an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, as well as Windows XP and LG’s instant boot Splashtop OS.
The latest company to add a netbook to their range is Gateway with the launch of the Gateway LT2000 Netbook.
The Gateway LT2000 Netbook comes with a 1.6GHz In tel Atom N270 processor, plus a 10.1 inch WSVGA LCD display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600, it also comes with 1GB of RAM and a 160GB 5,400RPM SATA HDD.
Some of our readers will remember the Asus EEe PC T91 netbook which is now available, and has now had the hands on treatment from a few of our favourite sites.
As a reminder it comes with an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, with the option to upgrade to 2GB, and a 16GB SSD plus a 16GB SD Card for extra storage as well as 20GB of online Eee storage.
Vodafone [VOD] UK has just announced that it is selling the Samsung NC10 netbook with built in 3G.
Some of our readers will remember the specifications on the Samsung NC10, it comes with 10.2 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600, it is powered by and Intel Atom processor and comes with 1GB of memory and a 160GB hard drive.
Tech Radar are reporting that Sony is set to release a new version of its Vaio P in October.
Although the Sony Vaio P hasn’t been the success that Sony wanted, mostly due to its high price, Sony intend to release an updated version in October.
The New version will see faster boot times, presumably it will come with Windows 7, other specifications are pretty much limited, it is expected to cost the same as current models, so you may be better off check out the Sony Vaio W, which is the companies first netbook.

Datawind, the guys who brought us the Pocket Surfer, has just launched a netbook, the Datawind Ubisurfer Netbook.
The specifications on the Datawind Ubisurfer Netbook aren’t too impressive, with a 1GB SSD, 128 MB of RAM, a 7 inch screen with an 800 x 480 resolution, a built in microphone and speakers plus an SD card slot and 3 USB ports.
This is by far the coolest netbook case we have seen to date on geeky gadgets, the NES Controller Netbook Sleeve.
BenQ has added another netbook to their range with the BenQ Joybook Lite U102.
The BenQ Joybook Lite U102 comes with a 10.1 inch WSVGA backlit LED display an Intel Atom processor, a 250GB hard drive and a 90 percent keyboard.
Packard Bell has added a new netbook to their range with the launch of the dot m/a Netbook.
The Packard Bell dot m/a Netbook comes with a single core 1.2GHz AMD Athlon 64 L110 processor, an 11.6 inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768, and ATI Radeon X1270 graphics.
