AT&T  has officially launched two new HTC handsets, the HTC Pure and HTC Tilt 2, which are AT&T’s first mobile phones to feature the new Windows Mobile 6.5.

Samsung and T-Mobile are launching another Google Android powered smartphone, the Samsung Behold II. This is T-Mobile’s fourth Android mobile phone, and it comes with a 3.2 inch AMOLED display, a 5 megapixel camera with built in autofocus, and it comes with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and 3D Cube menu.

Samsung launched their first 12 megapixel camera phone back in June, the Samsung Pixon, now Samsung has launched a another new 12 megapixel camera phone the Samsung SCH-W880. From one side the Samsung SCH-W880 looks like a normal mobile phone, turn it over and it looks like a compact digital camera with a zoom lens.

NTT Docomo has developed a couple of mobile phone prototypes using surplus wood f trees culled during thinning operations to maintain healthy forests. The new prototypes were created in a joint venture between NTT Docomo and Sharp, and the handsets have been given the name ‘Touch Wood’.

Yesterday we saw the new Microsoft Courier Tablet, today Gizmodo has another exclusive, two new smartphones from Microsoft (MSFT), the Microsoft Turtle and Microsoft Pure. Microsoft’s new smartphones are made by sharp, and look quite similar to the Sidekick for Danger, which was bought my Microsoft a couple of years ago.
